All Badge Locations - The Hunt Roblox 20 Wiki
The collectible badge hunts, hidden buttons and puzzle rooms spread across the anniversary years, with the routes that stop you circling a map twice.
Overview
Several anniversary years ask you to find things rather than to fight, and those collectible hunts are where players lose the most time. The 2006 map hides ten badge pickups, the 2007 hub hides five buttons, and later years rotate through egg and coin collections.
All 2006 Badge Locations
The 2006 circuit is much easier to follow visually, since several pickups sit on vertical routes that are awkward to describe in text. This run shows the full badge route from the builderman NPC onward, and it matches the steps in our 2006 year walkthrough.
The 2006 Badge Hunt
Start by talking to the builderman NPC, because the ten badges do not spawn until the quest is accepted. Once the prompt is answered they are spread across the island in a rough circuit that starts around the Pantheon, and the 2006 walkthrough covers the combat step that follows.
Talk to builderman
Find the NPC in the 2006 area and answer the dialog prompt, otherwise no collectible badges will appear at all.
Check the Pantheon first
Climb inside the golden structure behind the leaderboard using the purple stairs to pick up the first badge on the upper level.
Work the castle interior
The grey castle nearby hides several badges, including one below a hidden ladder near the yellow tiled opening.
Sweep the ladder network
Follow the yellow ladder route toward the building with the trampoline for two more badges on the upper platforms.
Finish the platform ring
Jump the brown platform and the trampoline itself to close out the final pickups on the circuit.
Complete the Crossroads objective
After all ten badges, clear the three knockouts to finish the year and unlock the hub reward.
Collectible Hunts by Year
Each collectible year uses a different item type, but the routing habits are the same. Gather every pickup before the combat objective so you only cross the map once, which is exactly how the fast collection plan schedules these years. Check the counter between zones so a missed item never forces a second pass over the whole route.
| Year | Collectible | Count | Location Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2006 | Badges | 10 | Pantheon, castle interior, ladder platforms, trampoline |
| 2007 | Buttons | 5 | Cage, red-roof house, brown mountain, blue building, bridge platform |
| 2008 | Eggs | 10 | Spread across the Rocket Arena map before the KO objective |
| 2012 | Match objective | 1 | Skirmish win, or two losses for partial progress |
| 2014 | Coins | 50 | Accumulated across several Murder Mystery 2 rounds |
| 2015 | Wood | Fill the bin | Delivered to the Geck NPC near the main shop |
The 2007 Button Route
The 2007 hub hides five buttons that must all be pressed before the sword objective becomes useful, and the designers spread them across separate corners of the map on purpose. Missing a single one leaves the year unfinished, so treat the route as one short checklist rather than five unrelated stops.
Follow them in this order to avoid doubling back across the hub, and leave the awkward disappearing-bridge button for last, exactly as the badge list describes for the year. If a press does not register, revisit that button before moving on to the next one.
The Cage Button
The first one sits inside the cage structure close to where the quest NPC stands.
Red-Roof House
Head to the left corner of the map and find the button at the main entrance of the red-roofed building.
Brown Mountain
From the house, look left for the brown mountain and climb to the top for the third button.
Blue Building
Use the path behind the pirate NPC to enter the blue corner building, then continue straight inside.
The Bridge Platform
The last button sits across a disappearing bridge, which is the one players most often think they touched.
Habits That Speed Up Any Hunt
Collectible years all punish the same two habits, regardless of whether the item you are chasing is a badge, a button, an egg, a coin or a stack of wood. Rushing a moving platform and skipping the counter check cost more time than any single difficult jump ever will.
These four habits apply to every hunt in the event, from the 2006 island to the 2008 arena and the later collectible years, and they are the reason the full badge list looks far longer than it actually plays. Learn them once and every remaining route gets shorter.
- Finish collectibles first — Clear the pickups before the combat objective so you never have to re-cross the map for a missed item.
- Pause on awkward platforms — Disappearing bridges and moving platforms cost far more time when rushed than when crossed patiently.
- Read the counter between zones — Check the quest counter after each pickup instead of assuming an interaction registered on touch.
- Use a visual route once — A single walkthrough pass removes most of the guesswork on vertical routes and hidden ladders.
Hidden Rooms and Secret Spots
Beyond the main collectibles, several anniversary years hide optional rooms that matter for the secret quest phase rather than for the timeline. The best documented are the Natural Disaster Survival underground passage and the Piggy House chapter route, and both are easy to walk past if you stick to the main objective.
The 2011 secret requires you to descend the blue staircase in the waiting lobby, stand on the grey podium, and use the computer in the hidden room to flip a displayed value. That activates the hat donation objective, which is covered in our secret items guide.
Those routes are not required for the twenty main badges, but they are how the hidden phase awards its exclusive accessories and the fragments that feed the final puzzle. Treat them as a separate checklist once the main timeline is complete, and do not let a hidden room distract you mid-route.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many badges do I need to find in the 2006 map?
Ten. They only spawn after you speak to the builderman NPC and accept the dialog prompt, so skipping him makes the island look empty.
Where are the 2007 buttons?
Five spots across the hub: a cage, a red-roof house entrance, the top of the brown mountain, inside the blue corner building, and on the platform across the disappearing bridge.
How many eggs are in the 2008 year?
Ten eggs are spread across the Rocket Arena map, and they are best collected before you start working on the five knockout objective.
Why is one of my collectibles not counting?
Most often the interaction did not fully register. Revisit the pickup and check the quest counter before leaving the zone, rather than assuming it counted.
Do collectibles count toward the main badge?
Yes in several years. The 2006 badges and the 2007 buttons are both required steps before the year's combat objective can be completed.
Are there secret rooms worth finding?
Yes, but they belong to the secret phase rather than the main timeline. The Natural Disaster Survival underground room and the Piggy House route are the best documented.
Can I collect badges out of order?
Within a map, yes, though following a set route avoids doubling back. Across years, the hub still enforces its chronological unlock order.
Do I need a guide for every collectible year?
Only the vertical routes really need one. Our 2006 walkthrough covers the worst offender, which is the ladder network inside the castle.
