Overview

Crossroads is the 2006 entry and the opening stage of the anniversary event, so it doubles as the tutorial for every year that follows. The challenge splits into a relaxed collectible hunt around the lobby island and a short player-versus-player arena session that decides the badge.

Year:2006
Game:Crossroads
Objective:10 badges + 3 KOs

2006 Full Run

This video run shows the builderman conversation, the badge sweep and the arena knockouts in a single sitting. It is the quickest way to see where each icon sits before you start, and our badge location map covers exactly the same ground in text.

The 2006 Requirements

Both halves of the year have to register before the podium responds, and the badge hunt is the half players tend to rush. The arena objective is where most attempts stall, so keep an eye on the counter and check the full badge list if it refuses to move.

Finding All Ten Badges

The ten icons are spread across one small island, so a single lap in one direction usually clears almost everything on the map. Our 2006 badge locations page groups every icon by landmark if you would rather follow a checklist instead of a route.

Builderman only reacts once all ten are collected, so if the counter still reads nine, retrace the Brick Tower interior and the trampoline platform before giving up. A second lap is far faster than restarting the entire year from the hub.

1

Start at the spawn walls

Turn around the moment you land and check the wall structures behind you, then work outward so you never cross the same ground twice.

2

Climb the Brick Tower

Ladders reach the roof, and one badge waits inside the ground-floor doorway while another sits on the archway beside the tower.

3

Cover the bridge and ruins

The corridor underneath the main bridge hides one icon, and the brown ruin plus its connecting walkway hold two more between them.

4

Finish at the trampoline

The white platform beside the trampoline and the trampoline launch itself are the final pair, and both are visible from a distance.

The trampoline badge is the easiest one on the map. Jump from the centre of the pad so you drift straight into the icon instead of clipping the edge.

Fast Tips for Crossroads

Crossroads combat is a straightforward deathmatch and the arena half is far shorter than the ten-badge hunt. If you are still learning the event loop, our beginner walkthrough explains the hub and the podium system before you commit to a full run.

These four habits turn the opening year into a quick five-minute stop rather than a repeated one, and most of them carry over to the combat stages later in the timeline, so they are worth reading even if Crossroads is already finished.

Bring the Rocket Launcher

A direct hit removes most players instantly, so three knockouts usually take only a couple of attempts once you hold it.

Ride the Trampoline

The trampoline launches you straight at the final badge, so jump from the middle of the pad rather than the edge.

Sweep in One Direction

Working outward from spawn stops you circling the island twice for a badge you already collected on the first pass.

Expect Kill Steals

Another player's damage can take credit for your knockout, so finish every fight quickly and keep moving through the arena.

Rocket splash can knock you off the arena platforms. Fire from mid-range and step back after each shot instead of holding ground.

Common Mistakes in 2006

Four small slips cost more time here than the whole year should ever take. If the podium still refuses to appear after both counters have filled, our badge troubleshooting page covers the usual registration problems and the quickest fixes for each one.

Read them before you step into the arena, because the combat objective is the one that quietly fails to register and sends players back into Crossroads for another complete set of knockouts, wasting an entire run of the year yet again.

  • Skipping builderman — The icons do not exist until you accept his request, so searching the island first wastes several minutes of walking.
  • Leaving the arena early — The knockout counter only tracks inside a live Crossroads match, so quitting before the third kill resets the combat half.
  • Treating one half as enough — Ten badges alone will not unlock the podium, and neither will three knockouts on their own.
  • Missing the tower interior — The ground-floor doorway of the Brick Tower is easy to walk past, and it holds one of the ten icons.

Claiming the Crossroads Tower

Claim the reward from the 2006 podium beside the leaderboard in the event hub. Crossroads itself never hands over the item, so returning to the arena once the knockout counter is full achieves nothing at all. Walk up to the podium and interact with it.

The Crossroads Tower is one of twenty main rewards in the anniversary event, and the complete list with every requirement and unlock step sits on our UGC items page. Bookmark it if you plan to collect all twenty before September 28.

From here the historical timeline continues directly into the 2007 Sword Fights on the Heights year, and the game order guide lists every chronological stop that follows afterwards, from Rocket Arena in 2008 through to the 2025 Grow a Garden stage.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How many knockouts do you need in Crossroads?

Three. The arena counter sits in the top-left corner of the screen, and it only moves while you are inside a live Crossroads match with other players.

Do the ten badges have to be found before the knockouts?

No. You can finish either half in any order you like, but both must register before the 2006 podium hands over the Crossroads Tower reward.

Where do the ten badge icons spawn?

They appear across the lobby island after you talk to builderman at the front of the 2006 area. Before that conversation, the island looks completely empty of them.

What is the fastest weapon for getting knockouts?

The rocket launcher. A direct hit removes most players in one shot, which is far quicker than chasing kills with the sword at close range.

Where do I claim the Crossroads Tower?

From the 2006 podium in the event hub beside the leaderboard. Crossroads itself does not award the item, so return to the hub to collect it.

Is there a code for the Crossroads reward?

No. This event has no promo codes at all, and the only official code route is the separate Roblox and Discord quest for the Blurple 8-Bit Wings.

How long does the 2006 year take?

Most players finish in ten to fifteen minutes. The badge sweep is the longer half, while the arena knockouts usually take two or three short matches.

Does Crossroads count toward Year Infinity?

Yes. Every main year badge counts toward the twenty completions required to unlock Year Infinity, and the Crossroads Tower is the first of them.
